About Me


I received my B.Sc. with First-Class Honors in Psychology at Dalhousie University (in Halifax, Nova Scotia) in 2003, and then moved to Kingston, Ontario to complete my Master's (2005) and Ph.D. (2009) in Social/Personality Psychology at Queen's University under the supervision of Dr. Jill Jacobson. I joined the Psychology faculty at UTPB in August 2009. My current areas of research include human communication, computer-mediated communication, interpersonal relationships, interpersonal sensitivity and empathic accuracy, uncertainty and uncertainty reduction, social anxiety, depression, narcissism and sense of entitlement among undergraduate students.
